Refund Policy

1. 7-Day Refund Window

We offer a 7-day refund window for all our courses. If you're not satisfied with the course content or teaching quality within the first 7 days of enrollment, you can request a refund subject to the terms below.

Important: Processing fees and 7-day administrative charges will be deducted from any refund amount.

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of course enrollment
  • You must have attended less than 25% of the scheduled sessions
  • Processing fee of ₹1,000 + 7-day administrative charge of ₹500 will be deducted
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after approval

2. Course Completion Threshold

No Refunds After 40% Completion: Once you have completed more than 40% of the course content or attended more than 40% of scheduled sessions, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Course completion is calculated based on:

  • Number of live sessions attended
  • Assignments submitted and reviewed
  • Course materials accessed
  • Time elapsed since course start date

3. Partial Refunds (Before 40% Completion)

Between 7 days and 40% course completion, partial refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances:

  • Medical emergencies with proper medical documentation
  • Job relocation that prevents course completion (with employment letter)
  • Technical issues on our end that prevent course access for more than 48 hours

Partial refund calculation: (Remaining course duration ÷ Total course duration) × Course fee - Processing charges (₹1,500)

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Course completion of more than 40%
  • Violation of our terms of service or code of conduct
  • Failure to attend sessions without prior notice
  • Change of mind after the 7-day window
  • Inability to secure employment after course completion
  • Personal scheduling conflicts or time management issues
  • Dissatisfaction with course difficulty level
  • Technical issues on the student's end (internet, hardware, etc.)

5. Fee Structure for Refunds

Deduction Breakdown:

  • Processing Fee: ₹1,000 (non-waivable)
  • 7-Day Administrative Charge: ₹500 (for requests within 7 days)
  • Partial Refund Processing: ₹1,500 (for requests after 7 days but before 40% completion)

These charges cover administrative costs, payment gateway fees, and course material access.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at info@kosal.io with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Include your enrollment details, course progress, and detailed reason for the refund request
  3. Provide any supporting documentation if applicable (medical certificates, employment letters, etc.)
  4. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days
  5. If approved, refund processing will take 7-10 business days

7. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after approval. The refund amount (after deductions) will be credited to the original payment method used during enrollment. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Course Transfers

As an alternative to refunds, we may offer course transfers to a future batch or a different course tier based on availability and circumstances. Transfer requests are subject to a ₹500 administrative fee and must be made before 40% course completion.

9. Final Decision

All refund decisions made by Kosal Labs are final and binding. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet our policy criteria or are submitted after the applicable deadlines.
